Shadow Work

Yay! Lol

Don’t you love looking at yourself - unbiasedly, unfiltered and unabashedly.. truthfully

Why is it so difficult!?

It’s an ego construct,

if we face the parts of ourselves that are hidden.. or in other words, that are “shameful”

Then on the road to awakening we need to accept and love these parts of ourselves as who we are

Sounds fine, consciously hey? Seems easy enough.

Consciously we want to “be better” or “be our best self” well with that I hear “Be Careful What You Wish For” lol

Because if we

It’s facing them, the years and years of denying that end up layering this shame.

In fact it’s not what is hiding underneath that is hard to process, sometimes.

It’s the feelings of shame, shame is one of the most lowest vibratory emotions, 10x more dense and heavy than anger

So I guess to start, let’s start with what Shadow Work is

TRIGGER CITY BABY, we’re going there

Shadow Work (lol i feel like it needs to be capitalized because it truly is such a strong topic)

When we grow up we are dependent on the world and people around us.

We have certain traits or parts of our personality that are deemed as “right” and “wrong” or acceptable and unacceptable and we are unconscious to them

the unacceptable parts are shoved into the depths, they get put in a dark room, so to say, with a lock and key figuratively this lock is shame and the key is - unconditional love

These aspects of our being are labeled as “negative” because consciously we deny “negative” aspects of ourselves. Which is the ego’s way of staying “safe”

If we are “good” people, good things happen to us, we are good people regardless - it’s societal constructs, religious programming and a still to be awakened collective consciousness that will soon awaken to the reality of humanness lol are you following?
